Revied Photoshop Doll

Here is an alternative way of presenting the doll, this version shows the doll sat aginst the window of the gallery:

la dama ragdoll

This image was used for the presentation on 19/01/12 to demonstrate the sizing and positioning of the "La Dama Rag Doll". Visitors would be invited to write the name of someone they had lost or missed as a commemeration of their life.
I used photoshop to merge the image of the museum mezzanine floor and ragdoll together. I also photoshopped a different dress onto the doll, as I felt the original material I'd used on the doll was too busy and it would be better to have a plainer dress which would allow more space for names.

Hello, here is the flyer and updated worksheets. As you can see nothing really needed adding to Hells stuff just changed the boarder and some of the type face.

Day of the Dead Exhibition Descriptions & Statement

This is what I've come up with for the descriptions of the work to be displayed in the exhibition. I have also drafted an artist statement for the rag doll piece. I will add all of this to the proposal and if anyone wants anything changed, we can do this when we meet up this week.

Thought it would be nice to incorporate more colour into the exhibition as this is an important factor during the festival. I experimented using Siobhan's original banner image.

marigolds (scent is said to attract the spirits of the deceased) set as background.

used red as background.

I personally like the marigold ones because they convey the bright, vibrant nature of the festival.

Here is a photograph I took of a day of the dead inspired tattoo on the arm of Eileen Spruce from the band Le Chat Noir when I was at work.

Floor Plan - in progress

I dont know if it can be seen in this photo, but I have photoshopped this image to replace the word 'stairs' with the word 'Rag Doll' to show where we would display the Rag Doll. Where did we decide to display the photographs? I cant remember what we decided, but once I know I will be able to photoshop the possition of them on aswell.

Guys, these are some things i have done for the 'Exhibition', i have used existing publications inside the gallery and remade them to represent our Day of The Dead exhibition.
